FUJIFILM Australia will launch its first 3D cinema advertisement in December 2010 as part of a global campaign to promote its new FinePix REAL 3D W3 digital camera.
The 45-second 3D advertisement - which was made in Europe - will screen nationally in 3D cinemas only.
The advertisement features a man showing his two friends pictures of his New York trip. The two friends are then transported into the scene in one of the still pictures. When one friend asks if the camera can do video, the scene comes alive.
FUJIFILM Senior Category Manager – Consumer & Professional Products, Matt Dole, saidthe new advertisement showcases the innovative capabilities of the FinePix REAL 3D W3.
“3D cinema is the perfect place to advertise this camera to a captive audience who is already enthusiastic about 3D, who are highly responsive to 3D advertising and many of whom will be eager to create their own 3D content at home.
“FUJIFILM has made 3D imaging more accessible to all consumers by enabling them to shoot in 3D HD and then easily view their photos and movies on most 3D TV systems,” Mr Dole said.
