Fujifilm introduces new T-Series camera, super-slim, 10x zoom and ultra compact
The new Fujifilm FinePix T200 is a super-slim, 10x zoom, ultra compact, ideal for enthusiasts who are keen to have a well-specified long zoom camera for travelling or capturing those precious family moments.
Encased in a brushed metal chassis with hairline finish, the FinePix T200 features a
14-megapixel CCD, 2.7” high resolution (230k pixels) LCD, 28mm-280mm (35mm equivalent) Fujinon optical zoom lens and sensitivity up to ISO 3200.
Dual Image Stabilisation
The FinePix T200 comes equipped with a powerful sensor shift Dual Image Stablisation (CIS) system that helps eliminate camera shake and deliver high quality images in a wide variety of lighting conditions. The result is an expanded range of shooting situations where the cameras can be used without the need for a tripod or other support. With CIS working in the background you can capture sharp, colourful scenes and portraits at night.
HD Capability
The FinePix T200 offers stunning movies in 720p HD with sound at 30fps – and you can even zoom during movie capture. To enjoy the movies on an HDTV, an optional HD player accessory kit with wireless remote control will allow you to enjoy amazingly detailed stills and high resolution movie playback (HDMI cable not included).
Tracking Auto Focus
Tracking Auto Focus (AF) is perfect when you need to capture a photo of a moving subject and can’t keep your subject in the frame. When you switch on Tracking AF, it will track your subject and ensure that you achieve a crisp picture with your subject in the centre of the frame in perfect focus.
Face Recognition Technology
With Face Recognition, the camera can identify the people in a photo by name. Fujifilm’s Face Recognition Technology allows you to pre-program eight people into the camera. There is also an option to categorise them into groups (eg. friends / family) along with their birth dates. The next time you capture a photo of the same person, the camera will cleverly recognise that person and optimise the settings to ensure the exposure and focus are best suited to the individual, rather than the other people in the photo. The technology can also recognise up to four pre-programmed people on screen at the same time.
The Image Search tool is able to use the Face Recognition data (name, birthday, category) to help find and playback photographs quickly and easily.

Face Detection and Automatic Red-Eye Removal
Fujifilm’s latest Face Detection technology enables perfectly exposed and focused portrait shots and is able to track up to 10 faces simultaneously. The system instantly corrects red-eye and then saves both the original and corrected image file automatically.
Scene Recognition Auto (SR Auto)
This mode intelligently detects the scene type you are shooting and optimises the camera’s focus, exposure and white balance. Regardless of whether you’re photographing flowers or a holiday landscape, you can shoot flawless photos at the press of a button.
Motion Panorama Mode
Motion Panorama Mode automatically stitches up to three shots to create a panoramic photo.
Smile / Blink Detection
Smile Detection works with Fujifilm’s highly acclaimed Face Detection technology to detect smiles on faces – it will not take a photo until it detects a smile, ensuring happy shots. Blink Detection warns you if you have captured an image with people blinking, so you can re-shoot, if necessary.
PhotoBook Assist
The PhotoBook Assist feature allows you to tag images and then creates a simulation of the photo book that can be viewed on the LCD.
