Demand for high-quality images has been rising along with the development of cameras featuring greater pixel counts. The purpose of security cameras has changed from the simple recognition of the presence of subjects to accurate and detailed information acquisition. Fujinon has been developing high-resolution lenses following the concept of the shift from ‘viewing’ to ‘recognition’, and will launch a three-megapixel vari-focal lens to accommodate megapixel cameras that are being introduced in the market. With use of aspherical lenses and low-dispersion glass with a high reflective index, Fujinon has achieved high optical performance through its unique precision work and assembly technologies.

In addition to the existing lenses for 1/3” cameras there are now two new models for 1/2" cameras available to complete Fujinon’s series of megapixel varifocal lenses, all supporting resolutions up to 3 Megapixel:

DV3.4x3.8SA-1
for 1/2“ cameras, C-Mount
focal length: f = 3,8mm – 13mm
iris: F1,4 – close
operation iris: manual iris

DV3.4x3.8SA-SA1
for 1/2“ cameras, C-Mount
focal length: f = 3,8mm – 13mm
iris: F1,4 – T360 (corresponds to F360)
operation iris: auto iris (DC type)

With its short focal length (f = 2,2mm – 6mm) and a wide angel of 120° another model for 1/3" cameras provides best overview:

YV2,7x2.2SA-SA2
for 1/3“ cameras, CS- Mount
focal length: f = 2,2mm – 6mm
iris: F1,3 – T360 (corresponds to F360)
operation iris: auto iris (DC type)
