Fujifilm FinePix A820 offers high end technology with point and shoot simplicity plus unrivalled photo quality
The Fujifilm FinePix A820 raises the bar for entry level cameras with its high end technology, point and shoot simplicity and unrivalled photo quality.
Fujifilm Senior Category Manager – Consumer & Professional Products,
Matt Dole, said the FinePix A820 is an 8.3 megapixel camera which comes complete with an impressive 4x optical zoom lens, ISO 800 sensitivity, plus high performance Super CCD sensor and Real Photo Processor.
“When the 4x optical zoom lens is combined with the 7.6x digital zoom, the total zoom range extends to 30.4x – allowing photographers to bring their subjects even closer,” Mr Dole said.
“With its user-friendly operation, the FinePix A820 shoots images rich in detail with true to life skin tones. Fujifilm’s innovative Super CCD sensor also enables the capture of highlights and shadow detail in every photo.
“When switching shooting modes, scene positions or control settings, Fujifilm’s new Graphic User Interface (GUI) design delivers a brief explanation of the setting -which is momentarily displayed on the LCD screen - to take the guesswork out of operating the camera.
“The FinePix A820 also features a conveniently positioned mode dial that provides easy access to the most commonly used shooting modes such as Auto, Picture Stabilisation and Movie mode. It also allows one-touch access to the
17 pre-programmed scene modes (including Baby mode) to capture high quality photos in a range of shooting conditions.
"Fujifilm’s IrSimple™ Technology enables photos captured on the
FinePix A820 to be instantly and wirelessly transmitted to other IrSimple™ enabled devices such as compatible digital cameras, PDAs and photo kiosks. This provides a faster and more secure way to share photos with family and friends.
“Other features of the FinePix A820 include an xD/SD media Compatible slot – a single slot that accommodates both Fujifilm’s xD-Picture Cards™ as well as SecureDigital™ media cards; 2.5-inch LCD display with anti-glare properties;
10 MB of internal memory and QVGA movie capture of 30 frames per second with monaural sound,” Mr Dole said.
Accessories include 2 x AA-size alkaline batteries; hand strap; A/V cable; USB cable (mini B); CD-Rom with FinePix Viewer and Owner’s manual.
