Fujifilm launches the new Violet Luxel V-6 Multi Cassette Autoloader (MAL) CTP at PrintEx 07
Stand 1608, PrintEx 07, Sydney, Australia. (24th May, 2007) – Fujifilm Australia announces the addition of the Violet Luxel V-6 MAL CTP to the B2 Luxel platesetter range. Using the same award-winning technology as the Luxel Violet CTP range, the V-6 MAL has the perfect pedigree to deliver unquestionable quality, performance, flexibility and low cost of ownership. The Luxel V-6 MAL is ideal for customers demanding high throughput, multiple plate sizes and unassisted attendance. Suitable for high quality commercial printers and trade shops, the Luxel V-6 offers a highly flexible format size from 279mm x 381mm up to 765mm x 686mm, allowing creation from some duplicator sizes right up to the largest of the B2 presses. The Luxel V-6 MAL has a wide range of image resolutions and can output up to 24 plates per hour at 2,400dpi. The system uses 3 cassettes each with a capacity of up to 150 plates, totalling 450 plates online. The user has the opportunity to use the 3 cassettes online in conjunction with a further 4 offline, which are interchangeable within a matter of minutes for maximising press uptime. The system has a remote messaging for ease of monitoring the system status and an internal punch option. For operational flexibility the system also offers an optional tilted trolley for use in confined spaces. The Luxel V-6 MAL has been optimised for use with Fuji's Brillia HD LP-NV2 plate but has been designed to give unparalleled quality and low cost of ownership from day one.
It is fully modular, with upgrade options designed to expand the workflow and automation, improve the productivity and take advantage of the forthcoming nocompromise Fuji Brillia HD PRO-V chemistry-free violet plate.
